Energetic movements, exciting music, and colorful costumes
boldly accentuate Sohoyini’s presentation of the traditions in the rhythm and dance of Africa. The diverse and vibrant performance never fails to get the audience on their feet.
Boasting a talented ensemble of world-renowned performers from countries such as Ghana, Guinea, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, dancers and musicians alike have a passion for sharing the culture and arts of Africa.
Sohoyini, or "one heart" in the Dagbani language of Northern Ghana, represents the unity of African cultures and diversity throughout the world.
Created with cooperation, peace, and celebration in mind, Sohoyini’s Pan-African performances are perfect for everything from festivals and community events to private parties or corporate functions. We can do everything from a short set for a funraiser, to a two hour feature.
